When it came to resurrecting the fabled Nu Breed series after a long hiatus, Jim Rivers was the DJ who convinced GU label boss Andy the time was finally right. Jim’s was the production and DJ work Andy felt was significantly different, and brilliant, to warrant the return of the brand that did so much for the likes of Steve Lawler, Sander Kleinenberg and Lee Burridge.
With a stream of productions coming out on some of the hottest labels in the world, Jim is a busy man. He’s also in huge international demand as a DJ, helped no end by the calibre of mix he turned in for Nu Breed. As a torchbearer for a new generation of Nu-comers, Jim couldn’t be better.
